The Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten (Template:Lang-en) is a two-year residency for visual artists, based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Funded by the Dutch government, residents are granted a stipend and are allotted a personal studio in the former military barracks building in which the Rijksakademie is housed. The institute also offers manned workplaces and a library specializing in visual arts and art theory. Each year, approximately twenty applicants are accepted as residents. The number of applicants can be as high as 1,200 annually, as was the case in 2006. Residents may come from any country. Usually, fewer than half of the resident artists are Dutch.
