Roger Peyrefitte (17 August 1907 – 5 November 2000) was a French diplomat, writer of bestseller novels and gossipy non-fiction, and a defender of gay rights. His extensive collection of erotic art was auctioned in Paris in 1978. It now forms the basis of the "collection Dominik M. Klinger, " which with more than 4,000 objects one of the largest of its kind in private hands, see DMK Erotic Art Museum.
