Samuel Ödmann (1750 - 1829) was a Swedish scientist writer.

He is the first to suggest that Nordic Vikings used fly-agaric (Amanita muscaria) to produce their berserk rages.

He published this in Försök at utur Naturens Historia förklara de nordiska gamla Kämpars Berserka-gang (An attempt to Explain the Berserk-raging of Ancient Nordic Warriors through Natural History).
