Shoot (1971) is the title of a performance piece by Chris Burden that was made in F Space in Santa Ana, California on November 19, 1971, in which he was shot by a loaded rifle in his left arm by an assistant from a distance of about five meters. Burden was taken to a psychiatrist after this piece.
