Fornuisgate refers to a film, filmed in 20 October 2017 with a hidden camera, in which several Antwerp city council members were seen entering a birthday party of land developer Erik Van der Paal.
Among the 50 attendees, was almost the full council team including Koen Kennis, Fons Duchateau, Rob Van de Velde, Annick De Ridder, Marc Van Peel, Caroline Bastiaens, Bart De Wever.
Representatives of Van der Paal had sued Apache.
Apache.be was acquitted in January 2021.
