Steven Hall is a Scottish born musician who currently lives in Thailand.

He moved to NYC age 18 where he went to Naropa University in Colorado to study writing with Allen Ginsberg and William Burroughs. Allen Ginsberg and I became fast friends and I played guitar for him--Allen took me to see his favorite musician perform--when Steven saw Arthur Russell sing one night his life was changed. Elodie Lauten released his last two cds Dry Ice and Wet Look on her Studio 21 label

His latest project is Arthur's Landing, collaborations in various formats to record and perfom Arthur Russell's songs--to honor his memory involving Ernie Brooks/Peter Zummo/Joyce Bowden/Bill Ruyle/Mustafa Ahmed/Elodie Lauten and John Scherman.
