For the purpose of this wiki, a story is:

A sequence of events

  • A narrative, more specifically:
  • Plot, the storyline holding a narrative together (also in the context of movies)
  • An essay or news article, in journalism slang
  • Organization story, in organization studies, is fragmented, collectively enacted, and co-constructed
  • User story is a way of illustrating software requirements, often used in extreme programming
  • A depiction of history
  • In older American slang, a soap opera, (e.g., “I’ll talk to you later; my story is on.”)
  • A happening in real life
  • Along with parable, a basic principle or pattern of the human mind
  • A comic which is a graphic novel where the actions of event's are drawn rather than written, a comic is usually written though as a short story book with many issues to collect
  • Interactive story
    • A pick a path where you choose the path and change the events up by turning to the asked page
    • A video game's story which is consisting of game play's main objectives, cut-scenes and things have to be done to actually progress to finish the game
      • Put roughly games of RPG, adventure, action, horror and other are mainly true interactive stories, though unlike a pick a path the plot is more straight forward and thought out, as in the interactivity is more set on playing through the events rather to merely change the events up as progressed through turning to a certain page(though movie makers will think the opposite and act as if one needs to be made in the format converting, this results in video game movies merely with cameos and movie rips [example: bullet time, etc.] and poor box office sales and mockery of the video game movie genre as immature)[1] [Apr 2007]
