Susanne Bier (born April 15, 1960 in Copenhagen, Denmark) is a Danish producer, director and writer. She is recognized as one of the most influential of her kind in Denmark. Her 2006 movie After the Wedding was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
