The Apotheosis of Hoche is a print by James Gillray which concentrates the excesses of the French Revolution.

The French general, Lazare Hoche, died unexpectedly on the 19th of September 1797 at the age of thirty-one. The embodiment of revolutionary animosity towards England, Hoche is shown ascending into an elaborate sansculotte paradise.[1]
