Happy Mondays are an English alternative rock band formed in 1980 by Shaun Ryder, Paul Ryder, Mark Day, Paul Davis and Gary Whelan.
They are best-known for "Step On", a 1990 cover version of "He's Gonna Step on You Again" (1971).
