The Ticket That Exploded is an acoustic guitar and vocal duo from Amsterdam, The Netherlands, comprising Vincent de Bel and Nathan de Vos. They take their name from the William S. Burroughs book of the same name. Making music with roots in the genres pop, indie rock, and country they create a fresh and unique sound which they hold on to throughout their entire repertoire.

They play and sing as one person, there is no battle for spotlight, instead their guitar parts complement each other creating a pulsing, contrapuntal, joy to the ear, carry you high, then drop you in a flotation tank experience. The duo sing of the human condition and the demons that hunt them, but with underlying optimism laid out for you in heart felt, at once dissonant and harmonic, vocal lines.
