Three Lovers (1817 - 1820) [1] is a painting by Théodore Géricault. It is considered his only erotic painting, currently in the Getty collection.

There is something Fuseli-like in Three Lovers, especially reminiscent of the latter's symplegma. It is not impossible that Géricault was familiar with the work of Fuseli, since he visited England in 1819.
