Un coup de dés jamais n'abolira le hasard ('A roll of the dice will never abolish chance') is a visual poem by Stéphane Mallarmé, first published in the French journal Cosmopolis in 1897.

The poem represents the true beginning of visual poetry as a self-aware practice.
