Un lit défait (c. 1824, English: An unmade bed) is an aquarelle by French painter Eugène Delacroix.

The work was featured in the docu Why Beauty Matters:

“See how these sweat-stained sheets record the troubled dreams, the tormented energy of the person who has left them and how the light picks them out as if they are still animated by the sleeper.”[1]
