Female infidelity is the unfaithfulness of the female partner in a sexual relationship. It has been the object of literature since The Loves of the Gods of Greek mythology. In the One Thousand and One Nights, female infidelity is at the center of the frame tale and the trope is often mentioned in antifeminist literature of the Middle Ages.

A cheated husband is commonly called a cuckold because he is at risk of raising another male's offspring.
