Triumph of Christianity (also known as Triumph of the Cross and Triumph of Christianity Over Paganism) is a ceiling fresco decorating the vault of the Sala di Costantino ("Hall of Constanine"), one of the Raphael Rooms in the Apostolic Palace of Vatican City, painted by Tommaso Laureti (1530-1602).
The Sala di Costantino is the largest of the four Raphael Rooms.
Images like this one celebrate the destruction of ancient pagan culture by early Christians.
The painting depicts an ancient statue of the god Mercury lying broken on the ground.
