"Waiting for a Train" is the ninth single by the Australian synthpop group Flash and the Pan. It is taken from the album Headlines and became their most successful single, reaching number 7 on the UK singles chart in 1983. The song features the vocals of Stevie Wright, the former bandmate of Harry Vanda and George Young from their time in The Easybeats. The UK 12" contained a 5:42 long disco version.

The song was later used in the 2008 Guy Ritchie crime drama film RocknRolla. In 1989 a new version of the song, remixed by Harry Schulz and Kaplan Kaye and titled "Waiting for a Train '89 (The Harrymeetskaplan Mix)", was released in the UK on Cha Cha Records.
