The term world community is used primarily in political and humanitarian contexts to describe an international aggregate of nation states of widely varying types. In most connotations, the term is used to convey meanings attached to consensus or inclusion of all people in all lands and their governments. In other connotations the term is used to convey a large amount of cultures living together in one place.
Examples
Dubai is a good example of an up and coming new world community. Dubai has incorporated such things as the worlds largest skyscraper, largest aquarium, largest international airport, biggest artificial island, biggest theme park and biggest mall. All of these things add to Dubai's attractiveness to people around the world. People from every continent are gradually visiting Dubai more and more creating a world community because of all the different cultures that are living harmoniously in one area. Other cities around the world that offer world communities like Dubai are New York U.S.A, Sydney Australia, and London England. World communities can also be stated as an community (large group) of people who effect the world, like Dubai did.
