Benno Barnard (°1954) is a Dutch writer.

He studied theology at the Faculty of Protestant Theology in Brussels in the early 1980s. He lived in Belgium from 1976 until the end of 2015, after which he moved to East Sussex. He is the son of the poet Willem Barnard.
