Encyclopédie des sciences inexactes (written between 1930-34) is a project by French writer Raymond Queneau (1903-1976). Not published until 2002, this project is an inquiry into "fous littéraires" which was supposed to expand into an anthology of aberrant knowledge. Madeleine Velguth prepared and edition under the title Aux confins des ténèbres in 2002. Parts of the work had been included in the novel Les enfants du limon.
