Jean-Pierre Digard, né le 8 mai 1942, est un ethnologue et anthropologue français. Il est directeur de recherche émérite au CNRS, spécialiste de l'Iran (notamment des tribus et du nomadisme) et de la domestication des animaux (en général, avec un intérêt particulier pour le cheval et le chien), et membre de l'Académie d'agriculture de France.
